ASCENT TO LANIN VOLCANO, 3 747 m

When we go from Pucón to the high mountain we find the impressive Lanín, the highest summit of the Araucanía. Located in the Chilean – Argentinean frontier, the Lanín is surrounded by extensive Araucaria woods and beautiful lakes. From its summit it is possible to see his “neighbors” Villarica and Quetrupillan along with a great volcanic range which extends from north to south of the Andes.

This ascent program is made in two days, which will help you to ascend in a gradual way and enjoy this experience to the fullest.


Day 1:
Transfer from Pucón to the base of Lanín volcano. Ascent to high altitude camp.
Day 2:
Ascent from high altitude camp to the summit of Lanín volcano. Descent to the base of the volcano. Transfer back to Pucón.
